Building a Business-Centric AI/ML Academy
The Challenge
A diversified Indian conglomerate wanted to democratise emerging technologies—specifically AI, ML, IoT, spatial analytics, and decision sciences—across its manufacturing businesses. The leadership aimed to go beyond awareness and develop 150 internal champions who could link technology adoption directly to business strategy and performance. The key challenge was to create a program that was impactful, non-technical, and relevant to on-the-ground functional roles.
Our Solution
VMentor.ai designed a multi-stage, experiential academy grounded in Kolb’s learning cycle. The initiative spanned three phases:
- 1. Recap & Reinforce: Instructor-led workshops tailored to each manufacturing business unit.
- 2. Research & Analyse: Deep dives into data, decision-making frameworks, and business strategy integration.
- 3. Create & Counsel: Capstone projects where participants presented real business use cases applying AI/ML solutions.
